The Many uses
of Clay Some of history’s most exciting discoveries that are changing lives and, in some cases, saving lives. This living clay, calcium montmorillonite, named after the town Montmorillan in France, was commonly used by early cultures both medicinally and nutritionally. It has been shown to possess remarkable healing properties when applied externally (to aid inflammation and pain), and internally (to combat ulcerated or irritated conditions of the stomach, bowels, colon or bladder). It can be used cosmetically for brushing teeth, as a facial pack, and to combat acne, as well as a variety of other skin conditions. In addition, colitis, diarrhea, even hemorrhoids have responded well to the use of this clay internally. However, no two clays are alike, and most shouldn't be eaten. This section will help you to understand the various properties, types, and uses of clay. |
