The calcium montmorillonite in Terrapak helps regulate the response of nerves to stimuli, influences the contractibility of muscles, and supplies major elements and trace elements that may be lacking in the diet.

Terrapak is applied as a poultice. It is first kneaded to the size and thickness of a pancake, and then placed on the affected area. Terrapak is a poultice clay used for the skin as a clay pack for pain management and detoxification.
